I love mail.

. . . don't you?

Yesterday I got a package in the mail from Amazon.com, and I was super excited!! After adding things to my virtual shopping cart, and then letting them sit for almost a month, I finally decided it was worth it to buy. (Am I the only one who does that?)

Anyway, what did I buy?

3 books:
I'll be honest, I bought the 2 sewing ones because they each have an adorable pattern for booties in them. But I was happy to see that there are plenty of other awesome projects that I can't wait to make!

The knitting book with the dirty name. . . well, I have the crochet book by the same author and love it. And I've borrowed this book from my Knitting Ninja friend before. It's great with excellent drawings and instructions to teach knitting, which I am still learning and determined to master. Eventually.

This sewing calender (as recommended by Anna over at Noodlehead)

And a walking foot for the sewing machine!

I've never seen one of these in person, let alone actually used... But I've heard it's the best for blankets, and I really wanted to try it!! Doesn't it look complicated?

Yippee for packages and new stuff!!

Good choice on the Stitch & Bitch knitting book. I've been knitting for years and highly recommend their patterns and instructions.

I've been thinking about purchasing a rolling hem foot and one of these for my sewing machine as well. Will you make sure you post how it works for you?

Thank you!

Be honest . . . you totally purchased the Little Stitches book because of the asian kid on the cover!

Yay for S n' B! Finally! You can now come to my house and knit with me! And we can compare projects on Ravelry... Oooh! Maybe a knit-a-long!? Hmmm...Things to ponder.. But I don't understand what the special foot is for. I took literally every sewing class in high school, though I must admit it's been years since I've really practiced. But now I kind of think I need it and I don't even know what it is. -Rochelle
